Super is typically able to be accessed when you reach preservation age (ATO). However, for urgent medical treatment (such as for dental treatment), early access can be granted.
At Dickson Street Dental, we streamline this application process for you, and help you investigate your eligibility to an early release of Super for dental treatment.Â
You are able to access funds in your Super for medically necessary treatments. Dental issues can often times be debilitating, painful and urgently necessary.Â
There is no limit to how much you can withdraw from your Super for dental treatment as long as you have sufficient funds available in your Superannuation. The maximum amount you can withdraw is what is necessary to cover your dental treatment expenses.
Your tailored treatment plan provided to you will detail necessary treatment and cost.
Direct family members are able to access their Super to pay for your treatment. Likewise, you are able to access your Super to provide dental treatment to your family members and dependants. Â
After approval is obtained, funds will be released into your bank account - however, this must then be paid directly to the service provider.Â
